This unit explains educators responsibilities as Mandatory Reporters. Educators are provided with current information relating to Child Protection legislation in NSW. This course looks at how to determine risk of significant harm, how to use the Mandatory Reporters Guide and how to make a report.

Educators will be provided with an understanding of the importance of ethical behaviour and how this relates to their work with families. This session includes an assessment that needs to be completed to achieve the Statement of Attainment.

 

 

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required for workers to participate in safe work practices to ensure their own health and safety, and as well as others in the workplace.
